Go Singles is a group that comes together in a community of loving spirit for the purpose of simply sharing time together. Their goal is to have fun – riding bikes, attending plays or concerts, kayaking, beach walking, cooking out, flying in planes over Glynn County, dancing, and whatever ideas that may come up among them. They were formed out of a group from St. Mark’s Episcopal Church, but the membership is not just limited to St. Mark’s singles, in fact the group consists of over 50 members. It is open to any single, any age whose seeking fun in a community of spirit.

The Icehouse has been home to a number of Go Singles events. The owner, Keith Missildine, is himself a member of the group. In fact the group was formed by Keith and Douglas Simpson as they found themselves surrounded by singles of all ages at St. Mark’s and began inquiring about interest in a “just for fun” singles group.

Once again, the Icehouse is a part of yet another community event. On Super Bowl Sunday a group gathered at the Icehouse to enjoy the game and share a fun time with friends.
